Oneida man injured in two-car New Hartford crash ticketed

NEW HARTFORD, N.Y. (WKTV) - A person who was sent to the hospital in a two-car crash in New Hartford Tuesday night has now been ticketed.

According to New Hartford Police, at approximately 11 p.m. on Tuesday, Mark Kosmowski, 37, of Oneida, was driving westbound on Chapman Road and lost control of his vehicle, crossing the center line and into the path of an eastbound vehicle driven by Elvis J. Sypek, 33, of Sauquoit.

Kosmowski was transported to St. Elizabeth Medical Center for an evaluation of chest pain. He was issued a traffic ticket for failure to keep right and will answer the charge at a later date in the Town of New Hartford Court.

The New Hartford Fire Department and Edward's Ambulance assisted the New Hartford Police Department at the scene of the accident.
