ONEONTA, N.Y. (WKTV) - An Otsego County woman is facing charges, accused of selling cocaine.

According to the Otsego County Sheriff's Office, cocaine was purchased from Tammy L. Hotaling, 37, of Morris, a convicted felon, in the City of Oneonta. Hotaling was indicted in August 2012 by a grand jury. Incarcerated at the Oneida County Jail for an unrelated petit larceny charge, she was released on Monday, September 24 after serving a 90 day sentence.

Upon her release, she was then brought to the Otsego County Correctional Facility on $700 bail on non-drug misdemeanor charges out of Oneonta Town Court and was charged on a sealed indictment warrant and charged with third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance. Arraigned Tuesday by an Otsego County Court Judge, Hotaling was remanded back to the Otsego County Correctional Facility on $25,000 bail returnable next month in Otsego County Court.

She faces up to twelve years in prison on the sale charge if convicted due to a previous felony conviction.
