OTSEGO COUNTY, N.Y. (WKTV) - Tony Pacherille, 45, now of Herkimer, and his brother, Angelo Pacherille, of Maryland, are charged with aggravated harassment for allegedly setting up a website that harassed one woman's family.

According to the the Otsego County Sheriff's Department, the brothers were arraigned Wednesday morning.

In late May of 2011, a Town of Otsego resident contacted the Sheriff's Office and reported that a website had been constructed that was harassing her family.

After a seven-week investigation investigators searched Tony Pacherille's computers and media storage at his home on Chestnut Street in Cooperstown on July 11th.

Two days later, three laptops were seized from the home.

The Utica Police Department Digital Forensics Laboratory revealed that one of the computers was used to set up parts of the website.

The Sheriff's Department says both Pacherilles were involved in the creation and publication of an alarming, annoying, and harassing post on the website in May.

In October, the Pacherilles surrendered themselves to authorities.

Both men are charged with aggravated harassment and are slated to appear in Supreme Court at a later date.

If convicted, they face up to a year in jail.
