Parents, schools collaborating on possible hockey team for Proctor

UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - It has been two seasons since Proctor High School had a hockey team, but things could be changing as a group of parents with students from Proctor, Hamilton and Westmoreland, among other schools, are trying to put a team together.

The team would be funded by the parents only and not the schools and the Utica School Board has already given approval for its students to participate.

The plan is still in the early stages but, if everyone gets on board, the group hopes to be eligible to play for the 2013-2014 season.
