UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - Parkway Pizza in Utica marked its grand re-opening Tuesday with both officials as well as the family members who carry on the East Utica tradition.

The LoGalbo Family (Dominic, Peter, Jenny and Anna Marie) say they are proud to once again re-open their doors and serve their New York style pizza, Fish Fry's, Riggies and other Italian favorites such as rice balls and Stromboli's to local high school students, who have been a staple there during lunches, and all Uticans who have grown accustomed to the great food that they offer.

The restaurant recently went through a complete rebuild of its structure and after months of construction. With the new addition to their menu of items like soft serve ice cream and homemade Gelato, the LoGalbo family hopes customers will start a new tradition at Parkway Pizza.

The addition of outdoor Porch style seating and a drive thru window are some of the other features that Parkway will be offering.

Utica Mayor Robert Palmieri, Utica Councilman Joe Marino and a representatives from Assemblyman Anthony Brindisi's office were among those in attendance.
