Poland Fall Festival paired with first-ever Poland soccer night game

POLAND, N.Y. (WKTV) - Soccer and fall are two things that go hand in hand, so it's fitting that a Fall Festival in Poland would include a soccer tournament.

This is the fifth year for the two-day event at the Russia Town Park has been held.

Dozens of local crafters were joined by area musicians to make this a fun fall event for the entire family. Organizers say the community's support is huge and it's a great way to celebrate Columbus Day Weekend.

Leslie Irwin, president of the Booster Club says, "I like to see the kids enjoying it and having memories that they'll cherish for their whole life. Last night is the first time we ever had we had a night game here at Poland Central School for our team and it was a great night. We had fireworks. What a great weekend for the community."

The Fall Festival is a joint venture between the Kuyahoora Valley Chamber of Commerce and the Poland Central School District.
