Police: Man broke into medical office, stole food and beverage

NEW HARTFORD, N.Y. (WKTV) - A Utica man has been charged after police say he broke into a medical office in New Hartford.

According to New Hartford Police, Kevin Capstraw, 60, of Utica has been charged with third-degree burglary and petit larceny.

Authorities say Capstraw broke into AMP Radiation-Oncology on Ellinwood Drive in New Hartford and stole food and beverage.

Capstraw was arraigned on the charges in the Town of New Hartford Local Criminal Court and remanded to the Oneida County Jail on no bail.

Capstraw is due back in the New Hartford Court on Friday, October 26 for a preliminary felony exam.
