(WKTV)- A Herkimer woman is facing charges after police accuse her of injuring her infant son and lying to the police. Jacqueline J. Oeser, 19, was charged with second-degree assault, endangering the welfare of a child and making a punishable false written statement. Herkimer Police said her 3-month-old was brought into the hospital with multiple fractures. The child was treated, released and is in the care of the county. Details surrounding the circumstances of the incident were not provided. Oeser is in the Herkimer County Correctional Facility in lieu of $25,000 cash bail or $50,000 bond. Additional charges are pending.
