Police and family to take up foot search for missing Oneida man

ONEIDA, N.Y. (WKTV) - The New York State Police helicopter and dive team were brought in Friday to help search for a missing Oneida man, but unfortunately turned up no sign of him.

Police, along with the family members of Bruce Albro, 42, of Oneida are now going on a foot search to try and locate him.

Albro is the brother of an Oneida Police Officer and has another brother who is a Syracuse Police Officer.

Bruce Albro was last seen near Sunset Lake in Oneida around 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday night, May 4, and was least heard from three hours later.

He called his girlfriend around 9:30 p.m. Wednesday night and that was the last anyone's heard from him.

His jacket and cell phone were found Thursday along Oneida Creek off of Kenwood Avenue in Oneida.
