By SPENCER DAVIDSON

WHITESBORO, N.Y. (WKTV) - The Whitesboro Police Department is asking for the public's help in identifying a man and a woman believed to have shoplifted a local store on Friday.

At approximately 6 p.m., on October 25, a man and a woman were seen entering the Dollar General store in Whitesboro. The store's surveillance tapes captured multiple pictures of a man wearing a white bandanna, and a woman dressed in dark clothes, who appeared to be stealing from the business.

According to officials, the man remained in the store for 45 minutes filling a clothes bin with clothes, coffee pots, and other items, while the woman exited the premises and pulled a red sedan up to the front door for the getaway.

Police are asking anyone who may have information on who the suspects may be, or any other info on the incident to call (315)736-1944.
