Police question suspect involved with shots fired incident on Oswego Street

UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV)--Police say they now have a person they are questioning in connection with the shots fired incident  at the intersection of Sunset Avenue and Oswego Street.

Utica police say witnesses nearby noticed two cars involved just before 10 a.m. on Monday. Occupants in one car shot at another car, before both vehicles drove away in different locations.

Soon after police noticed a car with bullet hole damage to its windshield and rear windows. After officers conducted a traffic stop on Dewitt Street, the driver Adrian Liggins, of Utica was taken to police headquarters for questioning.

The case remains under investigation.
