Police seek suspects in Rome bank robbery

ROME, N.Y. (WTKV) - Police are looking for suspects they say robbed Access Federal Credit Union at 200 South George Street Monday afternoon.

It happened just after 12:30p.m.

Rome police say the suspects are three black men. They said the men entered the credit union, who of them had handguns. One of the suspects jumped over the counter and took cash while the other two suspects kept customers at bay.

Police said, the trio got away with an undisclosed amount of money. The suspects fled the scene in a charcoal colored, four-door sedan, possibly a Pontiac Grand Am with an out of state license plate. The vehicle was last seen traveling east pm Erie Boulevard.

If you see a vehicle matching the above description, you're asked to call 911.

Access Federal Credit Union was also robbed in May of 2013.
