Police stop to help disabled vehicle, find $2,000 in stolen razors
REMSEN, N.Y. (WKTV) - Two Utica men face grand larceny charges after state police stopped to help them out along State Route 12.
State Police say they stopped to help Nathaniel Walker, 39, and John Makuch, 63, with their disabled vehicle in the Town of Remsen.
Upon investigation, they found the driver had a suspended license.
They also found hypodermic needles in the vehicle, but perhaps the biggest find investigators uncovered: $2,000 worth of Gillette Fusion Razors, stolen from the Walmart Store located on Route 12 in the Town of Lowville.
Both face grand larceny charges.
Walker also faces charges for possession of a hypodermic instrument.
Both are being held at the Lewis County Jail.
