Port Leyden man accused of stealing copper cable wire

(WKTV) - A Port Leyden man is accused of stealing thousands of dollars of copper cable wire from a ski resort, the Lewis County Sheriff's Office said.

Brian A. Nagy, 24, of Port Leyden is charged with felony burglary in the third degree and grand larceny in the third degree.

According to officials, Nagy allegedly broke into a garage at the Snow Ridge Ski Resort and stole $8,000 to $10,000 in copper cable wire.

Nagy was arraigned in the Village of Lowville Court and released to probation.
