Port Leyden woman accused of endangering children

PORT LEYDEN, NY (WKTV) - A Port Leyden woman was arrested Thursday and charged with two counts of endangering the welfare of a child.

According to the Lewis County Sheriff's Office, Erin S. Butzer, 35, drove her vehicle on Aug. 8  through the driveway and yard of a next-door neighbor at a high rate of speed, almost striking two children.

Cash bail was set for $1,000.
