TRAFFIC ALERT:Portion of I-790/Route 49 reduced to one lane during paving

UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - Eastbound and westbound traffic of a portion of I-790/ Route 49 in the City of Utica will be reduced to one lane during paving operations that began on Tuesday.

According to the New York State DOT, paving operations on I-790/Route 49 between Edic Road and Leland Ave began on Tuesday, October 8 and all paving will take place during normal daytime hours.

DOT officials say that motorists will encounter a reduced speed limit of 45 mph in the work zone and may experience minor delays.
