Possible Food Processing Plant could bring 120 jobs to area

ORISKANY, N.Y. (WKTV) - Oneida County could get back a tiny bit of the manufacturing that it's lost over the past three decades.

Mohawk Valley EDGE President Steve Dimeo says the Oneida County Business Park is in the running for a food processing plant that could bring 120 jobs to the area.

Dimeo declined to name the company but says they have many site options and are in the process of evaluating incentives.

He feels the county has a good chance of securing the plant, which would be operational next year.
