Police: Nurse tried to put "hit" out on ex-husband

SHERRILL, N.Y. (WKTV) - A nurse at the Central New York Psychiatric Center in Marcy has been charged after authorities said she tried to hire people to kill her ex-husband.

According to New York State Police, a week-long investigation revealed that Kristine P. Eastman, 33, of Sherrill solicited two individuals to murder her ex-husband.

Eastman had been employed as a nurse at the CNY Psychiatric Center in Marcy.

She was arraigned in Town of Floyd Court and sent to the Oneida County Jail on $15,000 bail.
