Public's help sought in search for teen runaway

NEW HARTFORD, N.Y. - The New Hartford Police Department are asking for the public's help in locating a 14 year old runaway from the House of the Good Shepherd.

Police say Talyah Whitten, 14, is 5'10", with brownish/black hair and hazel eyes.

Authorities say Whitten ran away from the House of the Good Shepherd on June 16 around Noon and her last known location was in the Utica area.

If you recognize Whitten or you believe you know where she may be, you are asked to please contact the New Hartford Police Department 315-724-7111, or your local police agency.
