NEW HARTFORD, N.Y. (WKTV) - According to reports, the water main break on Osborn Rd., the site of Saturday's deadly fire, has been fixed and the road is now re-opened for traffic.

There has been no confirmation on whether or not the break has any direct connection to Saturday's fire that destroyed a home on Osborn, killing 3, however NEWSChannel 2 has been monitoring the situation for the latest information.

According to officials, the break occurred at 8 a.m., and the Water Authority quickly arrived at the scene and had been working on fixing it throughout the day.

Earlier today, the Water Authority said that it could take 6 hours, or even the entire day to fix the break depending on the severity and location.

At 5:50 p.m., the Authority announced the re-opening of Osborn Rd.
