Remaining dogs taken from Montgomery County kennel

By WKTV News

ROOT, N.Y. (WKTV) - We have another update on an alleged puppy mill in Montgomery County.

State Police have confirmed that the 13 remaining dogs were taken from Flat Creek Kennel on Rappa Rd., Wednesday night.

The dogs were taken after an evaluation that came out this week finding 100% of the dogs "medically compromised" in some way.

The Montgomery County SPCA asked Glen Highland Farm to assist with the border collies.

According to a report, 35 dogs were taken from the kennel earlier this month.

The report includes photos of permanent nose and ear damage.

The New York State Police, the New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets, and the New York State Attorney General's Office, are also involved in this joint investigation.
