Remsen couple upgraded to stable condition after Florida crash

ZEPHYRHILLS, F.L. (WKTV) - The conditions of a Remsen couple have been upgraded after a car accident in Florida that killed their two friends.

Elizabeth and Wayne Laribee are now listed in stable condition after the Sunday morning crash in a community near Tampa, Florida.

Authorities say one driver swerved into their path to avoid hitting a stopped car.

Charles and Georgianna Anken, of Holland Patent, who were in the same car as the Laribees, were killed, along with another person from the Zephyrhills area.
