REMSEN, N.Y. (WKTV) - 29 seniors graduated Sunday from Remsen High School, continuing graduation weekend in Central New York.
The ceremony was held at the high school gymnasium, with the lights turned off to keep the room cool.
The now-graduates will go on to college, careers, or the military. Two will go to the U.S. Army and another to the U.S. Navy.
NEWSChannel 2's Jason Powles was the commencement speaker. In giving advice to the students, Powles said, "Stop and think, and say 'Am I being a leader or am I being a follower?' If you answer that question the right way, the sky is the limit."
