Rescue Mission of Utica seeking turkeys for Christmas dinner

(WKTV) - The Rescue Mission of Utica will serve meals to more than 1,000 people on Christmas Day, but they're short turkeys.

Volunteers are opening on Tuesday with the hope that people will answer the call. The shelter, at 212 Rutger St., will be open from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday.

The Rescue Mission is looking for turkeys, other food items and hygiene products.
