Reward offered for information in Herkimer Hannaford robbery

(WKTV) - A $2,000 reward is being offered for any information leading to the arrest and conviction of a man suspected of robbing the pharmacy at Hannaford in Herkimer, police say.

Herkimer police are actively investigating leads into the robbery that occurred around 10:40 a.m. Aug. 13 at the Hannaford on East Albany Street in Herkimer.

A reward of $2,000 has been offered by an anonymous source. The suspect is a white man, about 5'8" to 5'10" tall. He was wearing a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt, baseball hat, sunglasses and dark, loose-fitted jeans. He fled the store on foot to a parking lot at Bassett Health Care, where he got into a silver four-door Chevrolet.

Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call Herkimer police at 315-866-4330. All calls may be kept confidential.
