Ribbon cutting for bridge in Little Falls

LITTLE FALLS, N.Y. (WKTV) - There was a big celebration in Little Falls Friday night, a ribbon cutting for the South Ann Street Bridge.

The bridge recently opened after a seven month $1.4 million replacement project. The bridge spans the Mohawk River and is the primary vehicle and pedestrian route from downtown to Loomis and Moss Island.

Little Falls mayor Robert Peters said the bridge also helps with the sewer system and provides an additional four and a half feet of clearance to prevent rising water from damaging the bridge.
