Richfield Springs man charged for home burglaries

RICHFIELD SPRINGS, N.Y. (WKTV) - A Richfield Springs man has been charged after police say he repeatedly burglarized a home.

New York State Police arrested Larry E. Bond II, 43, of Richfield Springs for second-degree burglary.

On August 30, 2010, a homeowner in Richfield Springs contacted the State Police and reported numerous burglaries to his home believed to have occurred since February, 2010. Several hundred dollars were taken during the burglaries.

The investigation led to a surveillance being conducted at the homeowner’s residence by State Police members.

According to authorities, Bond was observed burglarizing the residence and was then taken into custody by the State Police surveillance team.

Following his arrest Bond was arraigned at the Town of Richfield Court, and sent to the Otsego County Jail in lieu of $10,000 bail.
