Roadways covered in rocks and debris in Deerfield following storm

DEERFIELD, N.Y. (WKTV) - Driving up Smith Hill Road in Deerfield on Thursday seemed more akin to off roading than a morning commute to work.
The roadway was cluttered with huge rocks and various other debris following the storm that covered the entire road in some spots, making it almost impossible to pass.
In some cases, people got out of cars and worked together to pick up many rocks out of the roadway in order to try and get cars through.
Road crews spent the majority of the morning and into the afternoon cleaning up the mess.
