Rochester woman accused of sneaking pot into Rome correctional facility

(WKTV) - A Rochester woman faces charges after she allegedly smuggled marijuana into the Mohawk Correctional Facility in Rome, New York State Police say.

Spring A. Gartley, 39, of Rochester, was charged with two counts of promoting prison contraband in the second degree and unlawful possession of marijuana. She was arrested on Sunday.

Gartley was arraigned in the Town of Floyd Court and was sent to the Oneida County Jail on $2,000 cash bail.

New York State Police assisted the New York State Department of Corrections and Community Supervision Inspector Generals Narcotics Unit in the arrest.
