ROME, N.Y. (WKTV) - An apartment unit was badly damaged after a fire broke out in Rome on Sunday afternoon.

The fire happened at a two-apartment complex on North James Street and broke out around 4:00 p.m. It took fire fighters only 11 minutes to bring the fire under control.
