(WKTV) - Rome's Capitol Theater will present the annual Mystery Night Double Feature at 7 p.m. Saturday.
Two murder mystery movies will be shown, while live on stage between the films a short mystery play will be presented, with audience members attempting to solve. During intermission, characters from the play will intermingle with the audience. Those who solve the crime will win prizes from local businesses.
"Terror Aboard" from 1933 will be presented, as will 1934's "Charlie Chan in London." Both movies will be screened via 35mm archival prints on the theatre's 20-foot screen. The entire program, including the intermission, is expected to run about three hours.
Tickets are $6 for adults, $5 for Capitol Friends and $2 for children 12 and under. Parents are advised to use discretion because of the violent content of "Terror Aboard."
The Capitol Theatre is at 220 W. Dominick St. For more information, call (315) 337-6453 or at www.romecapitol.com.
