Rome brothers arrested in church burglary, vandalism

By WKTV News

(WKTV) - Two Rome brothers have been charged with burglary after they allegedly stole from and vandalized a local church in 2012, Rome police say.

Andrew T. Marsh, 20, and Cori S. Marsh, 22, are charged with second-degree burglary.

According to authorities, in January 2012, Rome police responded to a reported burglary at St. Peter's Catholic Church on East Liberty Street. Food items and a microphone were taken, and a Natvitiy statute was urinated on. A DNA submission submitted to a lab returned a link to the two.

The brothers were arrested on Thursday and are being held at Rome lockup.
