Rome woman accused of fradulently purchasing sudafedrine

(WKTV) - A Rome woman has been charged after a two-month investigation into fraudulent purchases of sudafedrine at numerous area pharmacies, New York State Police said.

Corie L. Edwards, 35, of Lamphere Road, is charged with forgery in the second degree, criminal possession of meth manufacturing materials, falsifying business records in the first degree and criminal impersonation in the second degree.

Edwards was sent to the Oneida County Jail on $10,000 bail.
