Rome woman charged with DWI, possession of brass knuckles

(WKTV) - A Rome woman was arrested Sunday after officials say she was driving while intoxicated and had brass knuckles in her possession.

According to New York State Police, Laura A. Holpp, 27, is charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated and criminal possession of a weapon in the fourth degree.

According to officials, Holpp was stopped while driving on Elmer Hill Road in the City of Rome. When she opened her glove compartment to retrieve her registration, police say they saw brass knuckles. A further investigation showed she was driving while intoxicated.
