Rome woman charged with bringing drugs into jail

(WKTV) - A Rome woman has been charged after she allegedly brought methamphetamine into the Oneida County Correctional Facility, the Oneida County Sheriff's Office said.

Hillary A. Lohr, 24, of Scadden Road in Rome, is charged with promoting prison contraband in the first degree.

According to officials, the charges stem from a vehicle and traffic stop by New York State Police in Sylvan Beach. While Lohr was being processed, a correction officer located a container of methamphetamine on her, the sheriff's office said.
