Rome woman charged with rape

(WKTV) - A 25-year-old Rome woman faces a rape charge, according to the Oneida County Child Advocacy Center.

Amy L. Grass, 25, of Rome, is charged with rape in the third degree.

According to officials, Grass allegedly engaged in a sexual relationship with a child under the age of 16.

She was sent to the Oneida County Jail in lieu of $5,000 bond.

The investigation was conducted by New York State Police Investigator Todd Grand and Oneida County Sheriff's Investigator Dan Brown, who are assigned to the Oneida County Child Advocacy Center.
