Route 12 Ramps back open following truck collision

NEW HARTFORD, N.Y. (WKTV) - The State Department of Transportation has finished repairs on the State Route 8 Bridge over the North-South Arterial in New Hartford.

All lanes and ramps are now back open. this includes the right-hand lane of Route 12N from Wilbur Road to Lomond Place, the entrance ramp to Route 12N from Route 8S/Route 840E and Campion Road, and the entrance ramp to Route 12N from Wilbur Road.

The bridge was damaged on August 31st when a truck heading north on the Arterial hit the lower part of the bridge.
