SUNY Canton students donate kevlar body armor to Sheriff's K9 Units

(WKTV) - The Oneida County Sheriff's Department received a special piece of equipment recently.

In order to protect the Sherrif's Deputies K9 partners, SUNY Canton Criminal Investigation students Dylan Barringer and Candace M. Rankin, donated a kevlar vest for the K9 Unit.

Deputy Jason Osika, and his K9 partner Cero, were the lucky Unit to receive the body armor, with the Criminal Justice Student Association, led by Barringer and Rankin, purchasing the armor.
