Aug. 2's Baseball Hall of Fame concert canceled

(WKTV) - The concert celebrating the 75th anniversary of the National Baseball Hall of Fame has been canceled, promoters said.

The concert was scheduled for Aug. 2 and was to feature Hunter Hayes, Paul Simon, the Boston Pops, Juan Luis Guerra, Yolanda Adams and Bernie Williams.

"We are extremely disappointed in today's announcement by LGH19 Productions that the concert celebrating the 75th anniversary of the National Baseball Hall of Fame has been canceled," said Jeff Idelson, president of the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum. "We are so thankful for all of those who purchased tickets for the concert with the intent to support the museum and our educational outreach mission in our diamond anniversary salute.
