Utica police find two cars in Mohawk River

By WKTV News

(WKTV) - Utica police say they found two cars on Tuesday in the Mohawk River.

Back in January, police received a report that a car had broken through the ice and gone into the Mohawk River. The search was called off after two days, and investigators said they'd wait for warmer weather. On Tuesday, police resumed their search.

Two cars were pulled out. One was a stolen car, police said. Officials are unsure about the other one.

Anyone who has information on the cars can call Utica police at 223-3510.
