Second woman charged for allegedly stealing Utica Council campaign signs

UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - A second woman has been charged for stealing political campaign signs belonging to a Utica Common Council member running for re-election.

On Wednesday, November 2, Utica Police charged Tacheona Herron, 18, of Utica and charged her with two counts of petit larceny.

It is alleged that Herron, along with Sahza Ferizovic (who was arrested for this incident on October 27, 2011) stole several political campaign signs belonging to Utica Common Councilman Jerome McKinsey.

The offenses occurred on the 1500 block of Dudley Avenue, and the areas of Steuben and Leah Streets, and West and Arthur Streets.
