Serious injuries reported in East Utica accident

UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - Several people sustained injuries, some serious, in a car accident that occurred in East Utica at the intersection of South Street and Webster Avenue, according to the Utica Police Department.

The victims were transported to St. Elizabeth Medical Center. There are no details on the exact number of people involved or the extent of their injuries.

Utica Police Sgt. Steve Hauck described the injures as "very serious." He said he was unable to speculate on anything further than that.

UPD is asking the public for help, if they witnessed the accident. They are asked to call 315-735-3301.
