Serious injures after motorcycle crash in Annsville

ANNSVILLE, N.Y. (WKTV) - Two people were seriously injured after a motorcycle accident in the Town of Annsville on Sunday morning.

According to the Oneida County Sheriff's Office, 57-year-old David Murdoch, of Utica, and his passenger, 51-year-old Karen Palmer, of Taberg, were traveling on Lee Center - Taberg Road when the driver lost control of the motorcycle just before noon.

The motorcycle left the roadway before crashing into an embankment.

The collision caused Murdoch and Palmer to be ejected from the motorcycle, according to law enforcement officials.

Both sustained serious injuries and were transported to St. Elizabeth Medical Center where they are in stable condition.

No tickets have been issued at this time, officials said.
