Sheriff's office has identities of larceny suspects

(WKTV) - The three people suspected of larceny and caught on camera at a Target in the Town of Clay have been identified, the Oneida County Sheriff's Office said.

Officials said more than 100 phone calls and countless leads via the sheriff's office website were received. The calls came from both citizens and law enforcement.

As a result, the three individuals have been positively identified, but the investigation remains ongoing.

On Jan. 4, deputies received a report that a car was broken into in a parking lot of a business on State Route 233 in the Town of Westmoreland. A purse, cash and credit cards were taken.

On Jan. 5, the three suspects used one of the stolen cards at Target on State Route 31 in the Town of Clay.
