Shooting victim drives himself to the hospital, no arrests yet

UTICA, NY (WKTV) - A man was shot Friday night in the leg on Court Street in Utica, near Sunset Avenue.

According to Utica Police Chief James Watson, the shooting took place just after 8p.m.

The injuries are non-life threatening. In fact that man took himself to the hospital.

No arrests have been made at this time.

We do not yet know the motivation behind the shooting.

We do not yet know the name of either the victim or the shooter.
