Skateboarder airlifted to Syracuse after being hit by car
UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - A man was airlifted to a Syracuse hospital after suffering serious injuries from a car accident Saturday night, according to law enforcement officials.
Utica Police say a man riding a skateboard on Burrstone Road was hit by a car around 11:00 p.m. He suffered serious injures and was transferred by helicopter to Syracuse.
The accident happened in front of Faxton.
Burrstone Road was closed for much of the night as police reconstructed the scene as part of their investigation.
