St. Elizabeth College of Nursing names top students

(WKTV) - St. Elizabeth College of Nursing has announced its 2014 weekday and weekend valedictorians and salutatorians.

Daniel Freedman of New Hartford was named weekday valedictorian. The son of Dr. Peter and Linda Freedman, he is a graduate of New Hartford High School and has a bachelor's degree from the University of Vermont.

Holly Sellers of Munnsville is the weekend valedictorian. She is married to HuDayne Sellers and has two children, Gage, 12, and Meadow, 3. The daughter of Susan Anderson and Ron Cooke, she is a graduate of Madison Central School and received a massage therapy diploma from Body Therapy Institute in Siler City, N.C.

The weekday salutatorian is Heather Duncan of Clinton. She is married to David Duncan and is the daughter of Sharon LaRue and Richard Hovious.

Christina Johnston of Rome was named weekend salutatorian. She is married to Dale Johnston Jr., and has a son, Kyle, 13. She is the daughter of Joseph Sr. and Pamela Pestar and is a graduate of Herkimer High School. She also has an associates in both athletic fitness studies and physical therapy assistance from Herkimer College. She works for Mohawk Valley Health System's St. Luke's campus as a physical therapist assistant. Upon graduation, she will be employed as a registered nurse at St. Luke's campus in the stroke unit.
