St. Elizabeth Medical Center holds vaccine drill

UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - St. Elizabeth Medical Center held what's called a dispensing drill Thursday to be sure it would be ready in the event of an emergency.

They expected to vaccinate over a thousand employees, volunteers, medical staff and first responders as well as police and fire personnel in just 12 hours.

The goal was to examine the quality of the immunization process at the hospital.

Heidi Coluzza of St. Elizabeth Medical Center said it's "to see that we are able to do this in an efficient manner and exercise ourselves and see what we need to fine-tune in case we have an actual incident."
