Stage Door charity accused of using donations for personal gain

ALBANY, N.Y. (WKTV) - The State Attorney General has banned a fundraising company from soliciting contributions from New Yorkers.

A company called Stage Door"raised more than $11 million in New York since 2005, raising money on behalf of several public safety organizations like police and firefighter benevolent associations.

The attorney general's offices now says that Stage Door used the money for personal gain.
