State Lottery confirms $1 million scratch-off winner in Utica

UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - The New York State Lottery has confirmed that someone has one $1 million from a scratch off ticket in the City of Utica.

Lottery officials would not release the identity of the winner, saying they expect to hold a press conference with an official announcement in the coming weeks.

They did not say which scratch-off game was played.

However, officials did say that the winning scratch-off ticket was purchased at the Price Chopper on Genesee Street in the City of Utica.
